About the role

Writexperts helps brands convert attention into trust with clean, consistent visuals. We’re expanding our roster with photographers and high-volume image editors who can turn tight briefs into marketplace-ready assets. Every project at Writexperts receives a lead-producer quality check before final delivery and an originality/licensing verification of all visual assets; any accompanying copy (titles, captions, alt text) undergoes a plagiarism check to safeguard brand integrity.

What you’ll do

• Translate briefs and brand guides into consistent, on-spec image sets at scale.

• Execute studio shoots (tethered preferred) or work from client RAWs; manage lighting, color targets, and exposure for repeatability.

• Perform batch workflows: clipping paths, dust/crease removal, skin/beauty cleanup, natural/drop/reflection shadows, and background standardization.

• Ensure color accuracy (ICC profiles, soft proofing) and deliver web/print-ready exports.

• Build tidy file structures, naming conventions, and embedded metadata for DAM.

• Prepare variants for A/B tests, marketplaces, and internationalization.

• Communicate proactively with PMs, stylists, and designers; turn feedback fast.

What you’ll need

• A portfolio with before/after examples and multi-SKU consistency.

• 3+ years’ professional product/portrait/editorial or high-volume editing experience.

• Proficiency in Photoshop, Lightroom/Camera Raw, and/or Capture One; bonus: Retouch4me/Topaz, automated actions, or scripting.

• Technical rigor: color management, tethering, focus stacking, HDR/pano, and export specs.

• Reliable setup: calibrated monitor, controlled lighting, and secure asset handling.

• Nice to have: bilingual English/French; sector expertise (fashion, beauty, jewelry, food, tech).

Assessment & quality assurance

Shortlisted candidates may complete MCQs on color management, retouching ethics, and marketplace specs, plus practical tests (e.g., edit a mini set or shoot to a short brief). On live projects we run two-step QA: (1) editorial/technical quality review for accuracy, consistency, accessibility, and export compliance; (2) originality/licensing verification for images and a plagiarism check for written elements before final delivery.
